This pickup employs ceramic magnets with steel pole pieces to deliver a seamless top end. Compared to traditional J pickups, the 45JCS offers a less bright tone, making it an excellent option for those seeking a deep, rich sound. It produces warm jazz bass tones while benefiting from EMG's quiet, low-impedance preamp.
Designed for 6-string basses, this model is encased in a 45 extended series cover cap measuring 4.5 inches (115mm). With our solderless wiring, installing this pickup is a simple task that you can easily do yourself.
