The VC-1-DMX automatically produces control commands for your DMX lighting system by analyzing input from video and audio sources, removing the need for a dedicated lighting operator. The colors and brightness adjust according to the current video image, and the lights and mirror balls synchronize with the music tempo. For more in-depth control, the VC-1-DMX is compatible with external MIDI operation from hardware control surfaces, electronic musical instruments, and computer-based production software.

Simply connect your video, audio, and MIDI sources to the VC-1-DMX for seamless conversion and distribution to all your DMX equipment. You can even link multiple lighting devices and control them simultaneously. Customize the four channel maps using dip switches to regulate 512 DMX signal channels, with the ability to personalize them via computer using the VC-1-DMX Setup Tool.

For advanced system control, the VC-1-DMX offers integrated MIDI-to-DMX conversion. Connect a hardware MIDI controller to switch DMX maps* and adjust DMX parameters like global dimming, tilt, pan, and more using MIDI control change messages. Alternatively, utilize MIDI note information from keyboards, electronic drums, and other instruments to create lighting effects that synchronize with live musical performances. The VC-1-DMX also supports USB MIDI for controlling your DMX setup from lighting or music production software on your computer.
