The VC-100UHD features Roland’s Ultra Scaler technology, enabling simultaneous scaling and conversion to multiple destinations such as 4K LED walls, HD displays, USB livestreams, and more.

Sending 4K and 1080p video to multiple destinations simultaneously is effortless with the VC-100UHD, catering to LED walls, tech operator displays, recorders, and USB webcam streams. By connecting an ultra-high-definition source signal to the 12G-SDI or HDMI 2.0 inputs, the VC-100UHD automatically processes and converts it to various resolutions for distribution through 12G-SDI, HDMI, and USB 3.0 outputs.

The VC-100UHD boasts a high-resolution graphic LCD and user-friendly menu structure, allowing all functions to be accessed locally without an external control device. Detailed status screens provide information on resolution, frame rate, HDCP status, color space, bit depth, color gamut, dynamic range, audio levels, and more, simplifying troubleshooting with the system message log screen.

Leveraging Roland's innovative Ultra Scaler technology, the VC-100UHD ensures top-notch conversion quality for flawless big-screen IMAG and precise scaling for LED wall displays, maintaining color and gradation details with 10-bit internal processing for YCbCr 4:4:4 and YCbCr 4:4:4 subsampling.

Handling high frame rate (HFR) video sources seamlessly, the VC-100UHD can deliver 1080p video at rates up to 240 Hz for gaming monitors, 59.94/50 Hz for HD video systems and LED displays, and 59.94/50 Hz for HD livestream broadcasts simultaneously.

The VC-100UHD’s built-in visual effects feature enables easy image rotation, flipping, and mirroring, making it simple to adjust images for various displays. Additionally, with Frame Synchronizer and Genlock functions, video images can be re-clocked and stabilized as needed.

Featuring a built-in Region of Interest (ROI) function, the VC-100UHD facilitates multi-shot productions with a single 4K camera or the highlighting of presentation details. This function allows for zooming, moving, cropping, and scaling up to eight ROI windows using any 4K video input source, enhancing viewer experiences.

Audio processing capabilities include embedding digital audio from 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs, along with analog I/O options for balanced audio and line-level stereo audio. An advanced audio patching system enables routing and embedding/de-embedding up to 16 input channels and outputting up to eight channels, with adjustable audio delay for lip sync correction.

The Ultra Scaler in the VC-100UHD offers dot-by-dot output scaling at high quality, supporting resolutions like 4K HDR, 1080p SDR, and DCI Cinema 4K, ideal for connecting to LED display controllers.

In the esports realm, the VC-100UHD integrates high-resolution gaming machines smoothly into HD workflows, supporting gameplay at HFR 120 or 144 Hz with no-latency throughput up to 240Hz, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.

Supporting uncompressed livestreaming via USB 3.0, the VC-100UHD allows for converting and scaling incoming 4K UHD signals to Full HD 1080p/60 resolution or lower resolutions for optimal bandwidth usage, with audio delay options for correcting any lip-sync issues.

Enhancing stage events and online sessions, the VC-100UHD’s ROI switching enables cropping and enlarging parts of the 4K video image to HD resolution, providing a solution for scenarios where multiple cameras are not available. Up to eight crop-out points can be registered and switched instantly using a USB numeric keypad.
