This is the simplest and best sound-by-design direct box for connecting a high-impedance, line level, unbalanced output signal to a low-impedance microphone level balanced input via XLR. Due to its combo jack input and 3-way attenuation, the DIPRO can accept not just unbalanced instrument level signals, but also unbalanced and balanced line level signals and convert them to mic level.

The Sescom DIPRO is perfect for live sound applications, electronic musical instruments or connecting amplifier line level outputs to balanced mixing console inputs. Sescom has actually designed this unit to be single channel... why pay for two channels if you don't need them. Use two units for stereo applications, which would allow you to run effects through one channel while the other channel can remain effect free... if you dare!
