Its portable form factor makes it ideal for projects on the go, or where space is at a premium. It supports 4K, HDR, Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C connectivity. It's also been specially modified with audio punch-in for voiceover and real-time encoding to DNxHD and DNxHR over HDMI.

Get the high-res media acceleration of big brother Avid Artist | DNxIQ, at a fraction of the price. Avid Artist | DNxID offers hardware baseband encoding to Avid DNxHR, making it easy to work with large 4K files without slowing down your workflow. Bundle the interface with Media Composer to maximize your editorial efficiency. You can also record voiceovers and live audio with easy punch-in recording to Media Composer, and monitor HDR content in all of its stunning glory.

Connect to media sources
Don’t have an SD card slot or extra USB port on your spiffy new laptop? No worries. Avid Artist | DNxID features an SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity) card slot that enables you to access media stored on high-capacity SDXC UHS-II cards. It also provides a USB-C port to connect cameras, hard drives, and other media devices to bring fresh footage into your projects.
