Shipping & Returns

AVLgear Standard Return Policy for Amazon Marketplace
Our desire is that you are 100% satisfied with the purchases and services provided by our award winning AVLgear team. If you wish to return an item, please consent to our standard return policy and request RMA through Amazon for immediate assistance.

Amazon Return Instructions:
Go to your orders page, start a return request..
**All Returns are Subject to Restock Fee**

New Gear:
New items purchased are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase if items are unopened, in original brand-new condition, showing no signs of wear or usage (see exceptions). Examples of wear or usage are opened factory seal, handling marks, light scratches, dents, tear, scrapes, or scuffs that may render any condition less that of brand-new. Your return package must include all original manufacturer included materials such as accessories, brochures, warranty cards, manuals.. Your refund will be processed within 2 days after successful assessment by our trained category professionals as condition acceptable as stated above. Please note that refunds are valid for the value of the product only. Shipping services and handling charges will be deducted from your refund. If a label was provided for your return, it will be deducted from your refund. Items with promotion and/or free shipping will be deducted of the amount or promotion and/or shipping service fee from your refund. Items that are returned because a buyer found a "better price" will be subject to a partial refund after shipping & restocking fees are deducted. All returns are subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee.

Used Gear:
Used items purchased are eligible for refund upon return within 30 days of purchase if items are in its original condition (see exceptions). Your refund will be processed immediately after successful assessment by our trained category professionals as condition acceptable as described above. Used items that are returned in condition less than original will be charged a restocking fee. Please note that select used items are not returnable.Shipping services and handling charges will be deducted from your refund. If a label was provided for your return, it will be deducted from your refund. Items with promotion and/or free shipping will be deducted of the amount or promotion and/or shipping service fee from your refund. Items that are returned because the customer did not know it was a used item will also be charged a restocking fee.

Special Order Gear:
Items on Special Order or Made to Order are not normally stocked by AVLgear. These items purchased are eligible for return with restocking fee of not less than 50%. Special Order or Made to Order items are returnable if items are unopened, in original brand-new condition, showing no signs of wear or usage. Examples of wear or usage are opened factory seal, handling marks, light scratches, dents, tear, scrapes, or scuffs that may render any condition less that of brand-new. Your return package must include all original manufacturer included materials such as accessories, brochures, warranty cards, and manuals. Your refund will be processed immediately after successful assessment by our trained category professionals as condition acceptable as stated above.  Shipping services and handling charges will be deducted from your refund. Items with promotion and/or free shipping will be deducted of the amount or promotion and/or shipping service fee from your refund.
*ATTN: Items that cost over $1000 with no defects will only be able to be returned at our discretion and observe a severe restocking fee. They will be looked at as a customer order.*

Customer Order:
For items with customization options, including any product configurations, designs, post-order production:

  • You must notify the third-party seller within 14 days of receipt.
  • If the item contains personal configuration, inscription, or design on these products, the third-party seller is not required to accept returns or exchanges unless the products are damaged or defective upon arrival.
  • If there is a misspelling or error in the configuration, inscription, or design due to a mistake by the third-party seller, you are protected per the Amazon A-to-z Guarantee.
  • All product packaging (such as boxes) must be returned with the item.

International Shipments:
All internationally shipments are NOT covered under our standard return policy unless additional policies and information is specified with your package. AVLgear does NOT cover using freight forwarder to ship or hand-carrying items internationally according to terms under Amazon International Shipping policy, “About Freight Forwarders and Hand Carry.” A detailed note is available for viewing on Help & Customer Service page.  AVLgear does not take responsibility for any duties, taxes, VAT, and brokerage, including all governmental and courier fees over international shipments. AVLgear is not responsible for all non-delivered parcels. Any return shipping fees incurred will be deducted from any refunds entitled to customer. International return labels will not be issued for items sent through a freight forwarder or hand carry without exception.

*About Freight Forwarders and Hand Carry:

Exceptions:
Select items are not covered under our standard return policy:
• Any open standalone software
• Any open bundled software with hardware
• Any items with missing original packaging and/or parts*
• Any product missing the serial number or UPC
• Any orders that have been forwarded to other countries by buyer (regardless of its condition such as damaged, defective, materially different)
• Earphones, in-ear monitors, microphones and other personal gears needing sanitation will incur a 50% sanitation fee**

The following types of items are accepted for refund if unopened or found to be defective: used items, clearance, demo, display, discontinued and open box. Additionally, earphones, in-ear monitors, microphones and other specified personal gears needing sanitation will incur a 50% sanitation fee**. Your refund or exchange will be processed immediately after successful assessment by our trained category professionals as condition acceptable as stated above. Shipping services and handling charges will be deducted from your refund. Items with promotion and/or free shipping will be deducted of the amount or promotion and/or shipping service fee from your refund.

Restocking and Handling Charges:
Handling charges will include restocking fees categorized by Amazon. Handling charges will not be less than 25% in accord with Amazon Return Policy whenever applicable. Special Order or Made to Order items will be assessed a restocking fee of not less than 50%.

Any item that is not in its original condition, damaged, and/or missing parts* not due to our error may be assessed a restocking fee upto 50% of the item’s price. Items not in original condition may be shipped back to the customer under our discretion. Any return item postmarked over 30 days from delivery will be assessed a restocking fee upto 80% of the items’ price.

Any personal gears needing sanitation will incur a 50% sanitation fee**.

Return Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for all return costs. AVLgear will not be held responsible for lost, missing or damaged packages in route to us. Please contact your courier services for further details on your options or claims.

Amazon Seller Return Policy:  Excerpt from Amazon.com
“Items valued at over $75 must be returned to the seller with a trackable shipping service. If the order is valued at $100 or more, insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise and ship your return with a signature shipping service. For items below $75, we suggest USPS delivery confirmation service.”

Order Cancellation:
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact AVLgear immediately during our office hours (M/F 8-7pm PT). If your order has not been processed, it may be cancelled and you will not be obligated to its sales charge. However, cancellations are not guaranteed. If the order has been processed, you will not be able to cancel the order and be subject to our standard return policy.

Shipping Address:
AVLgear ships to designated address on your Amazon account. We do not issue replacement or refund for orders delivered to your address submitted incorrectly from the customer. In such case when item is lost or perished due to incorrect shipping address, AVLgear assumes no responsibility. If however, an item is returned as undeliverable, you will receive a refund less 20% restocking fee and shipping cost both ways within 10 days of delivery back to our location.

Refused Shipments:
If a shipment is refused to be accepted, the order will be refunded less 20% restocking fee and shipping cost both ways within 10 days of delivery back to our location.
If an international shipment is returned to our location as refused to be accepted, you will be refunded less 80% restocking fee and shipping cost both ways.

Damaged or Defective Orders:
If you received a shipment damaged on route, please contact AVLgear immediately during our office hours (M/F 8-7pm PT).  A report has be generated within 14 days of delivery otherwise, your request may not be granted due to limited time frame carriers impose on damage claims. Item must be in its original condition and postmarked within 30 days of the delivery for return. The damaged shipment is subject to assessment by our trained category professionals.

If you received an item undamaged on route but fails to function properly, please contact AVLgear immediately during our office hours (M/F 8-7pm PT).  We will replace the defective item whenever available or a refund will be given otherwise. Item must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery for return. The defective item is subject to assessment by our trained category professionals.

Wrong Item Received:
If you received an item that is materially different from the order, please contact AVLgear immediately during our office hours (M/F 8-7pm PT).  We will replace the wrong item whenever available or a refund will be given otherwise. Item must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery for return. The returned item is subject to assessment by our trained category professionals.
