Atlona AT-OME-CS31-SA 3 x 1 HDMI Switcher

The Atlona AT-OME-CS31-SA 3 x 1 HDMI Switcher is part of the Omega Series of AV presentation and collaboration systems, providing functions such as AV switching, USB routing, audio mixing, amplification, and control. This system is designed for modern classroom and meeting environments.

AV Switching
The OME-CS31-SA features a 3x1 HDMI switcher that accommodates various inputs like laptops, computers, media players, and document cameras. These inputs are then directed to the output connected to a projector or display. It is compliant with HDCP 2.2, supporting 4K HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 at HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps.

USB Routing
Equipped with a four-port USB hub, this system allows connection to devices like cameras, speakerphones, and interactive displays. It can switch these devices between two host devices, making it suitable for popular video conferencing and UC platforms.

Audio Mixing and Amplification
The OME-CS31-SA offers three-line inputs for connecting various audio devices. Its onboard mixer enables individual-level adjustments of the line inputs, de-embedded HDMI audio, and USB audio. The built-in amplifier can deliver two channels of 25 watts or a single channel of 50 watts into 4 or 8 ohms.

Advanced Audio Features
Designed with audio integration features for classroom environments to ensure clear delivery of lesson material and announcements.

Ducking: Reduces the level of program audio sources when a teacher microphone signal is detected on the balanced line input.

PA Mute: Silences the audio output of the switcher upon detecting an announcement on the school's public address system or via contact closure from a third-party system.

Line Output: Routes all switcher audio to the line output, which can be connected to an assistive listening system.

Automation and Control
The OME-CS31-SA can manage a display via TCP/IP, RS-232, or CEC* without the need for a separate control system. It also includes automatic display control, activating the display when a laptop or device is connected and turning it off after a presentation. Additionally, the switcher can be triggered based on occupancy using the Atlona AT-OCS-900N or another sensor connected to its digital I/O.

For a physical user interface, control of the system can be achieved through Atlona’s AT-VKP-8E keypad controller or a Velocity touch panel control system.
