The PreSonus CDL Sub18 18-Inch 2000W Active Subwoofer pairs seamlessly with any full-range speaker and complements PreSonus CDL-series loudspeakers perfectly. This subwoofer delivers a precise and unified low-frequency sound, driven by a powerful 2,000-watt Class D power amp. Its distinctive ported design optimizes efficiency, elevating its robust and articulate sub-bass performance. The compact build ensures versatility for both fixed installations and portable sound systems.

With an 18-inch LF transducer and a 4-inch voice coil, the CDL Sub18 allows for 7 mm of driver travel before over-excursion, resulting in a significant low-end impact. When matched with CDL12P or CDL10P loudspeakers, a comprehensive system is formed with consistent frequency response.

Featuring an integrated pole mount, the subwoofer supports ground-stacked configurations with up to two CDL-series loudspeakers. For enhanced bass, stacking two CDL Sub18 subwoofers is recommended. Integrated M10 fly points enable hanging the subwoofers for added flexibility.

To adapt to various live sound situations, the subwoofer offers a menu system for adjusting its performance, including sound-enhancing presets and a variable low-pass filter for fine-tuning frequency transitions.

The CDL18s' port design with four triangular ports placed in corners optimizes bass output within a compact enclosure. These ports utilize the side walls to extend each port, allowing the CDL18s to move more air while reducing port chuffing and baffle reflections, resulting in improved phase coherence.

Featuring balanced XLR input and XLR direct output, along with a menu-driven onboard variable low-pass filter, output power presets, and polarity invert, the CDL Sub18 provides comprehensive control over your low-frequency sound output.
