The guitarlele gets treated like a princess! Created for the discerning guitarlele player, this model is an upgrade on our GUT 350 model, featuring a mahogany body and a solid spruce top. The guitarlele has 6 strings on the body of a baritone ukulele. The top 4 strings are standard ukulele tuning (GCEA) with the addition of A and D strings in the bass, resulting in ADGCEA tuning - the same as a guitar with a capo at the 5th fret! Flight’s GUT850 is one of the best guitarleles available on market and perfect for guitar players looking for a portable solution or uke players looking to expand their horizons!

Rosewood paired with solid spruce
We paired mahogany back and sides with a solid spruce top for a sound that is both deep, warm and rich in the mid and lows as well as providing a clarity and projection in the high end. This is a very common combination of guitar tonewoods that works very well for a guitarlele.

Rosewood fretboard and bridge
Like many of our Royal Series since 2020, the GUT850 model features a gorgeous chocolatey Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Historically a very popular hardwood for fretted instruments, rosewood can add warmth to the sound of an instrument while lessening harsh higher frequencies.

String-through bridge
The string-through bridge is used on many of our Royal series ukuleles and is one of the latest ukulele trends. It makes the top resonate better, as the strings are attached directly through the soundboard, and not to the bridge. Changing the strings might seem a bit confusing at first, but actually it is easier - check our YouTube channel for a tutorial on how to change the strings if you are unsure how to do so.

Savarez Classical guitar strings as standard
Savarez have made a name for themselves in the classical guitar world and make some of the best strings out there. Similar to a classical guitar, the GUT850 comes strung with wound metal strings from A to G and nylon strings from C to A.

Abalone Rosette and unique position markers
The abalone rosette offers a classic touch, and the unique maple fretboard markers make this guitalele stand out from the pack. Side position markers also add to ease of reference.

Royal burgundy
The GUT850 comes with a luxurious red gig bag with a purple infusion. Associated with royalty, this regal color adds a final touch of luxury to this instrument. The bag features 15mm padding which is thick and will ensure good protection for your guitarlele.
